1. UGC-NET 2022 results to be declared tomorrow.

A day after releasing the answer key of UGC-NET examination, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce its result on Saturday. Candidates can check their results on the NTA website. 


2. Program to be designed to encourage students to join professional courses.

A program will soon be designed in which ITI students and graduates can interact with school students and encourage them to pursue professional courses in these institutes, said the Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia Thursday. 


3. Puducherry Schools to Remain Shut for 2 days due to Heavy Rains.

Government and private schools in Puducherry and Karaikal will remain shut for two days, i.e. today and tomorrow, due to heavy rain alerts in both regions. The announcement has been made by the Puducherry Education Minister.


 4. President Droupadi Murmu Commends Rising Number Of Girl Students in Higher Education.

The Mizoram University organized its 17th Convocation yesterday, i.e. November 3, 2022. The President of India, Droupadi Murmu graced the occasion as a Chief Guest. She said that the growing number of female students in higher education is appreciable but should increase at a higher rate while pointing towards the fact that in the academic session 2021-22 in Mizoram University, the number of girls is more than 50 per cent of the graduate students.


5. Delhi University launches Internship Scheme 2022.

Delhi University has commenced the registration process for Delhi University Internship Scheme 2022. The internship scheme named ‘Vice Chancellor Internship Scheme’ registration has begun at Dean Students Welfare at dsw.du.ac.in. The last date to register for the scheme is November 11, 2022.


6. PM felicitates winners of CBSE-CVC Essay Writing Competition 2022.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday awarded the winners of the CBSE-CVC essay writing competition organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in collaboration with the Central Vigilance Commission from October 3 to 11, 2022.


7. RDA opposes removal of marshals & bouncers from Lady Hardinge Medical College.

The Resident Doctors' Association (RDA) of Lady Hardinge Medical College and Associated Hospital has opposed the recent move of withdrawing security marshals and bouncers from the hospital campus.
