EducationToday conducted the 9th National Conference on K-12 leadership & India School Merit Awards on the 11th & 12th of March, 2022 at the Chancery Pavilion Hotel, Bangalore. The conference hosted a massive gathering of consultants, principals, educators and stake holders all under one roof from across the country, to participate in some insightful discussions and brainstorming sessions. The award show witnessed some of the top schools from various categories being awarded and felicitated.
The conference went on with some extremely insightful panel discussions where we witnessed some eminent personalities from the education fraternity share their thoughts on crucial topics pertaining to the current situation in the education sector.
On the first day of the conference, some of the top educators - Dr. M Srinivasan– Founder and Chairman of GEAR Foundation, Mr. Manas Mehrotra– Trustee of Greenwood High International School, Managing Director of NestaVera Group of Companies and the Chief Mentor of Kara4Kids, Dr. Ujwala N. Jagdale– Chairman of Marigold International School, Mr. Rohan Agarwal – Chairman of Redbridge International Academy, Mr. Arvind Manjegowda - Trustee of Vidya Soudha Group of Institutions, Karnataka and Dr. Sam Paul Isaac – Director of Krupanidhi Group of Institutions & Asia Pacific World School, were a part of the panel discussion of the conference to provide their inputs on the topic – ‘The roadmap towards the recovery of the education sector - Are we geared up for the new normal?’.
The discussion was chaired by Dr. M Srinivasan, and it proved to be a very insightful and interesting one as all the panelists threw light on the challenges faced by the education sector during the pandemic, the learning loss occurred, and how the “recovery” of the education sector requires lot of effort from schools.
