1. Kerala government sets up exclusive panel for special schools.

The Kerala government has formed an exclusive panel to revise the criteria for granting financial assistance packages to special schools where children with intellectual disabilities studied.


2. Delhi govt partners with Burlington English India to improve English language skills of students & teachers.

The Delhi Board of School Education (DBSE) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Burlington English, a leading global provider of English language learning solutions. Under this partnership, students will be given support to develop global competencies in the English language, thereby making them confident and future-ready.


3. DU to launch 'Competence Enhancement Scheme' in Centenary year.

In its Centenary Year, Delhi University is going to launch a unique scheme called the Competence Enhancement Scheme (CES) to fulfill the objectives of the NEP. 


4. NTA postpones CUET UG 2022 phase 2 in Kerala due to heavy rains.

The Common University Entrance Test, CUET 2022 phase 2 exams have been postponed in Kerala due to heavy rainfall in the state. The National Testing Agency, on Wednesday released an official notice regarding the postponement of the exam.


5.Parliament committee recommends reconsidering spending on ads under 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' scheme.

A parliamentary standing committee has recommended that the government should reconsider spending on advertisements under the 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' scheme, and focus on planned expenditure allocation for sectoral interventions in education and health instead.


6.Govt releases draft guidelines to improve working conditions of nurses.

The Union health ministry has issued draft guidelines, proposing annual health check-ups, a creche facility and work hours not exceeding 40 in a week, among other measures, to improve the working conditions of nurses in all healthcare institutions. It has also recommended that all healthcare establishments may, as far as possible, provide accommodation to their nursing staff within or near their premises.


7.IIM Rohtak invites applications for Executive Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Management.

The Indian Institute of Management Rohtak (IIM Rohtak) is inviting applications for its two-year Executive Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Management 2022-24. IIM Rohtak is the first amongst all IIMs to have PG Diploma Programme in Sports Management.


8. Law graduates staying out of practice for over 5 years will have to clear AIB exam.

 Law graduates who stay out of law practice for more than five years and wish to return to advocacy will be required to clear the All India Bar Examination, said the Bar Council of India to the Supreme Court.
