The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) has released the Haryana Board date sheet 2023 for special examinations today, April 13, 2023. According to the schedule, the BSEH Class 10, 12 special board exams in 2023 will commence on April 24, 2023. The Class The 10th special exams will be held from April 24 to May 01, 2023, and the Class The 12th special exams will be conducted from April 24 to May 04, 2023. Haryana Board Class 10, 12 students who were eligible for the annual examinations 2023 which was conducted in February/March, but could not take the exam due to any reason, have another chance to appear for special exams. The application window for the special exams was made active from April 03 to April 07, 2023, and Candidates were required to pay Rs. 5,000 as a one-time application fee.


2. Chandigarh admin to set up Vidya Samiksha Kendra to monitor govt schools.

The centres are being established all over India at state and UT level to monitor student enrolment, progress in their learning levels, mainstreaming of out-of-school children, textbook delivery, and support required by teachers and schools. A senior official from the UT education department said the centre will be set up at a cost of ?2 crore under Samagra Shiksha, Chandigarh.


3. SI-UK education fair for Indian students from April 14.

 “The fair will cover 7 major cities in India, starting from 14th April 2023 in Thane, followed by Gurugram, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, and Kochi,” it said. Representatives and faculty members from the UK's educational institutions will take part in this fair. Some of the universities participating in the event are the University of Manchester, University of Birmingham, Queen's University Belfast and University of Exeter.


4. UGC releases draft guidelines on Indian knowledge systems in higher education.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has released draft guidelines for the incorporation of the Indian knowledge systems (IKS) in higher education for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses. The UGC has also directed higher educational institutions to share a few suggestions on the draft guidelines by April 30.


5. Delhi Government Releases ? 100 Crore As Part Of Budget For Delhi University Colleges.

The Delhi government today released the first quarter of the budget funds to the colleges that are fully funded by them, Delhi Education Minister Atishi said. Addressing a press conference, she said the Delhi government has always prioritised the education sector and has always allocated the highest amount of funds to it. "There are 12 such colleges that are fully funded by the Delhi government.
