None of the state universities in West Bengal have adopted
the Common University Entrance Test (CUET)-UG model for admission to
undergraduate courses, as said by authorities on Sunday.
2. UP teacher helps over 800 specially-abled children enroll
in schools.
A teacher Deepmala Pandey from Gangapur Primary School has
come up with a unique initiative for specially-abled children which this, she
asks every teacher to enroll at least one such child in a government school.
3. UGC issues warning to universities and students on
ragging.
With the admission season for undergraduate courses at
universities about to begin, the UGC has warned students and universities
regarding the practice of ragging at campuses.
4. Teaching should be such that there is no need to assign
homework, says Maharashtra minister.
Teaching at schools should be of such quality that there
would be no need to assign homework to children, said the Maharashtra School
Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar on Friday.
