1. 18,000 school teachers to soon be recruited in Haryana.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday said
that as many as 18,000 teachers will be recruited in the state soon. Of these,
11,000 regular teachers will be recruited and 7,000 will be recruited through
Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam.
2. TN govt collaborates with British Council to improve
English communication skills & teaching methodology.
The British Council, UK’s international organization for
cultural relations and educational opportunities, inked an Operational Alliance
Agreement (OAA) on Sept 23, 2022 with the Tamil Nadu Corporation for
Development of Women under the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department,
Government of Tamil Nadu for the DDU-GKY scheme.
3. Jharkhand to execute pilot project for helping school
students to quit tobacco.
The school education and literacy department of Jharkhand
has decided to execute a pilot project in some schools to make students give up
tobacco use for good, as reported by an official on Saturday.
4. External Affairs Ministry issues advisory warning about
fake job rackets targeting IT-skilled youth.
The Indian government has issued an advisory regarding fake
job rackets targeting IT-skilled youth. The advisory released by the Ministry
of External Affairs says that missions in Bangkok and Myanmar have uncovered
fake job rackets by suspicious IT firms in Thailand that are involved in
call-centre scams and cryptocurrency fraud.
