1. Mizoram University, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham jointly launch tech hubs in Aizawl, Serchip.

The Mizoram University and Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham jointly launched science, technology and innovation (STI) hubs in Aizawl and Serchip in the Mizoram state. The collaboration of both the universities was announced at an event titled "Mizoram conclave on C20: Education and Digital transformation". Governor of Mizroram, Hari Babu Kambhampati was the chief guest at the event. Renu Sharma was the presiding speaker on the occasion. 


2. Opening of sports academy at KIIT World School.

To give top-notch training facilities and guidance to aspiring athletes in a variety of sports, KIIT World School has opened a Sports Academy with the APS Sports. On April 24, 2023, the Sports academy was inaugurated by esteemed guests including the Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat – Wazirpur Mr. Sher Singh Chauhan, Founder Chairman Sh. B. R. Kamrah, Vice-Chairman Dr. Harsh Kamrah, CEO Mr. Anshuman Kamrah, School Principal Dr. Neelima Kamrah, and School Headmistress Mrs. Rashmi Srivastava at KIIT World School, Gurugram. 


3. Delhi government schools to raise awareness about vector-borne diseases among students.

The Delhi government has directed state-run schools to create awareness among the students about vector-borne diseases, officials said. The season of vector-borne diseases such as dengue, chikungunya and malaria in Delhi has already started.  These are all mosquito generated diseases and at times gain epidemic proportions if preventive measures are not taken, according to a circular issued on Tuesday. In order to control and prevent the outbreak of these diseases, it is essential to prevent the breeding of mosquitoes and students should be made aware of it, the circular stated. 


4. All AP school text books now available in PDF format.

The Andhra Pradesh government has now made all school text books available in soft copy (PDF) format on the school education department's website for people to download and print them for their use. As many as 371 e-books, 135 major and 218 minor, will be available. However, these cannot be exploited for commercial purposes, said School Education Department Commissioner S Suresh Kumar on Wednesday “Today we are starting a new system.


5. AP Inter 1st, 2nd year results 2023 announced, here’s how to check marks online.

Andhra Pradesh board Inter 1st and 2nd year results have been declared. Board of Intermediate Education, AP (BIEAP) has published these results on the official websites, bie.ap.gov.in and examresults.ap.nic.in. Students can check their marks online using board exam hall ticket number and date of birth. Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Botcha Satyanarayana announced Intermediate final examination results in a press conference.
