1. Maharashtra board Class 10 SSC exam begins tomorrowMSBSHSE guidelines.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will hold the Class 10 exam for the 2022-23 academic sessions from tomorrow, March 2. The Maharashtra board Secondary School Certificate (SSC), or Class 10, exams will begin with the First Language (Marathi, Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Sindhi, Bengali, Punjabi) and Second or Third Language (German, French) papers tomorrow in two shifts.The Maharashtra board will conduct the Class 10 SSC exams in two shifts.


2. Private varsities bat for varied selection processes along with CUET.

The UGC recently invited the private and deemed universities to accept the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores for admissions to undergraduate progammes, while some universities and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are still in the decision-making process, others are planning to retain different parameters for admissions followed earlier along with the CUET scores due to the centralised exam's limitations.


3. Radical changes in the education system to be made in next 10 years Himachal CM Sukhu.

The chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that the state government intends to bring radical changes in the education system in the next 10 years or so, and his first budget will be much focused on strengthening the education set up in the State. He said that time is fast changing and the state government intends to keep pace with the changing system and to bring Himachal Pradesh into the category of modern States with a special focus on the education sector in the budget.


4. IIT Mandi invites Uttar Pradesh govt schools and teachers for PRAYAS 2.0.

For PRAYAS 2.0, the Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi's Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) has extended an invitation to Uttar Pradesh government school students and teachers.The summer camp will be organised from June 5 to July 4, 2023. By engaging young students in mentor-based programmes, the Institute aims to inspire them to become science and technology leaders and innovators.


5. IIM Rohtak welcomes students of Mizoram for Ek Bharat Shreshtha.

Indian Institute of Management (IIM Rohtak) on Tuesday welcomed and received students from Mizoram in New Delhi. The students reached the capital to participate in Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat programme. As per a press release issued by IIM Rohtak, the Institute is the nodal institute for Haryana state for this initiative. A team of 24 students and 4 faculty members from Mizoram reached New Delhi to stay in Haryana Yuva Sangam under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat programme for a duration of 6 days.


6. Gujarat Assembly Passes Bill Which Makes Teaching Gujarati Language in Primary Schools Mandatory.

The Gujarat Assembly on Tuesday unanimously passed a bill which makes teaching the Gujarati language compulsory in all primary schools in the state, including those affiliated with CBSE, ICSE and IB boards. If a school is found violating the provisions of the ”Gujarat Compulsory Teaching and Learning of Gujarati Language Bill, 2023” for more than a year, the government would ”direct the Board or institution” to disaffiliate the school.
