The National Council of Educational
Research and Training (NCERT) will release new syllabus and textbooks only for
classes 3rd to 6th, and there will be no change in the Curriculum and textbooks.
4. 75K schools registered for RTE
admissions in state.
The School Education Department oversees
the RTE admission process, which allocates 25% of reserved places to children
from economically and socially weaker sections.
5. Police arrest IIT-Guwahati student under
UAPA for 'links with ISIS', looking for another.
