Canadian International School, Bengaluru, will host TeachConx on 29 and 30 October 2026 at its Yelahanka campus. The two-day professional development conference will bring together teachers, school leaders and education professionals to discuss changing approaches to teaching and learning.
This year's theme, Unlearning, encourages educators to reconsider established teaching methods, question assumptions and explore practices that better address students' changing needs. As technology and artificial intelligence influence classrooms, the conference aims to examine how educators can strengthen critical thinking, creativity and adaptability among learners.
The programme will include keynote addresses, practical breakout sessions and networking opportunities. Discussions will cover:
Modern assessment practices
Digital integration in classrooms
Student agency and participation
Inclusive learning environments
Shefali Jhaveri, Head of Learning at Canadian International School, said educators must be willing to question long-standing assumptions to prepare students for an unpredictable future. Further information and registration details are available on the school's official TeachConx webpage.
