MPSC Recruitment, Pharmacist Answer Key and Major Admission Updates

Several important examination, recruitment, and admission developments have been announced across Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and other parts of the country. The latest updates include possible changes in the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) recruitment process, the release of the UPSSSC Pharmacist Ayurvedic Main Examination answer key, the upcoming RIMC entrance examination and the third CAP list for Maharashtra’s three-year LLB admissions.

Maharashtra Considers More MPSC Posts

The Maharashtra government is considering increasing the number of posts to be filled through the Maharashtra Public Service Commission. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said the proposed increase could include a significant rise in vacancies, particularly for Group C positions. Five departments presented details of vacant posts at a recent state Cabinet meeting.

The government is also considering a return to an objective examination pattern for MPSC examinations if recommended by a high-powered committee constituted to review the commission’s examination system. The committee has been examining suggestions related to recruitment and examination reforms.

The developments are being closely watched by candidates preparing for state government recruitment examinations. Any final decision on the examination pattern or number of vacancies will depend on the recommendations and subsequent government decisions.

UPSSSC Releases Pharmacist Ayurvedic Answer Key

The written examination was conducted on September 20th from 3 pm to 5 pm for recruitment to 1,002 posts under the Directorate of Ayurveda, Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who appeared for the examination can access the answer key through the official UPSSSC website. The provisional key is available until September 28th, allowing candidates to check their responses and review their performance before the final result is announced.

  • Examination date: September 20th, 2026

  • Vacancies: 1,002 Ayurvedic Pharmacist posts

  • Answer key status: Provisional

  • Last date to access the key: September 28th, 2026

RIMC Entrance Registration Closes on September 30th

The registration window for the Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) Entrance Examination 2026 will close on September 30th. The December 2026 examination cycle is being conducted for admission to the July 2027 term, with the application process being handled online through the National Testing Agency (NTA).

From this examination cycle, the RIMC application process has moved completely online. Applicants are required to upload the prescribed documents through the NTA portal, and no hard copy of the application form is required. The revised age eligibility is 12½ to 14 years. Admissions are made to Class VIII, with candidates required to be studying in or to have passed Class VII from a recognised school.

The written examination will be conducted at designated NTA examination centres, followed by the subsequent stages of the selection process. Applicants should keep documents such as the birth certificate, domicile certificate, school studying certificate, photograph, and signature ready before completing the application.

Maharashtra Announces Third LLB CAP List

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has released the third Centralised Admission Process (CAP) list for the three-year LLB course for the 2026-27 academic year. A total of 11,756 students have been offered admission across 223 affiliated colleges.

Candidates allotted seats in this round need to complete the required admission formalities within the prescribed timeline. This includes reporting to the allotted college, submitting the necessary documents, and paying the applicable admission fees. Candidates who have received an allotment should carefully follow the CAP instructions to confirm their admission.

EducationNewsNetwork brings together these developments as students and candidates move through different stages of recruitment, entrance examinations and higher education admissions. With deadlines approaching for several processes, applicants should rely on the respective official portals for the latest notices, schedules and instructions.

For candidates, the latest announcements underline the importance of checking official notifications regularly and completing admission formalities within the specified deadlines. Any changes to examination patterns, recruitment vacancies, or admission procedures should be followed only after confirmation through the concerned authority.
