Karnataka UGNEET 2026 Second-Round Final Allotment Released

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the second-round final seat allotment result for UGNEET 2026 medical and dental admissions. The result was published on September 16th after the authority considered objections submitted by candidates against the provisional allotment list. Separate final allotment lists have been issued for medical and dental courses.

Candidates who have received a seat must complete the remaining admission formalities within the prescribed deadlines. This includes paying the applicable fee, downloading the seat confirmation slip, and reporting to the allotted college. The fee payment and confirmation slip window is open from September 16th to September 19th, while candidates must report to their allotted college by September 21st at 5 pm.

Candidates can check their allotment through the UGNEET section of the official KEA website using their login details.

UPSC NDA 2 Answer Key 2026 Released

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the answer key for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination II, 2026. The examination was conducted on September 13th, while the answer key was made available on September 16th.

The examination consisted of two papers, Mathematics and the General Ability Test (GAT), conducted in offline, OMR-based mode. The Mathematics paper contained 120 questions, while the GAT included 150 questions. Candidates can download the respective PDFs from the official UPSC website and compare their responses with the published answers.

The answer key can also be used to calculate an estimated score according to the prescribed marking scheme. However, the estimated score should not be treated as the final result.

West Bengal Revises HS Semester 3 Examination Dates

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has revised the Higher Secondary Semester 3 examination schedule for 2027. The changes have been made in view of Vishwakarma Puja.

Examinations originally scheduled for October 5th, 6th and 7th will now be conducted on October 12th, 13th and 14th, respectively. The overall examination period will run from September 21st to October 14th.

Students appearing for the affected papers should carefully follow the revised timetable. The board has also advised candidates to reach their examination centres at least 30 minutes before the reporting time and carry their admit cards for entry and verification.

At this point, EducationNewsNetwork highlights the importance of checking the revised dates directly against the latest board notification, particularly for students whose papers have been rescheduled.
